Contest for Best City in El Salvador 2008

Don't forget to cast your vote for Suchitoto, the cleanest, most well maintained, safest and beautiful city in El Salvador. We are sure that if you visit our city before depositing your vote you too will be convinced that Suchitoto should be the winner in this years contest for best city for tourist in El Salvador. Remember that in considering the best tourist destination you must take into consideration:

1) How clean, maintained and pretty the city is, including the architecture, street signs, sidewalks, storefronts, parks, marketplaces and other public areas.

2) The implementation of decorative activities within each city

3) The appropriate use of garbage cans throughout the city.

4) Cleanliness in markets, tourist and public areas.

5) Painting of monuments, buildings and public areas.

6) Proper use of street signs and directions within each city.

7) Road maintenance and quality of streets in the urban part of the city.

8) Maintenance and recuperation of green areas within the city.

9) Cleanliness of rivers and creeks

Rules state that you can only vote once and international travelers can use whatever identification they wish. We here in Suchitoto are sure that if you reserve your vote until after you visit our city, you will agree that Suchitoto should win as the best city in El Salvador.

You can place you vote in any of the cities that are participating in the contest from August 1st through August 31st of 2008. Voting cards and urns will be visible throughout El Salvador, please follow the indications on the cards, write clearly and only mark one city. Double votes will be eliminated and eligible cards will be discarded.

Remember you can only vote once and for only one city.
