Hi again,
After doing some research on El Salvador where I have been living for the past 13 years and finding that there is very little information in English, I decided to start a new web site. The Other El Salvador dot com is now working it's way to the top of the search engines. I have keep the site very simple, no fancy buttons, just good travel information about El Salvador. My hopes are that travelers will support the site providing new information as well as photos of lessor known places in El Salvador. Meeting the Bay family on their return to Suchitoto

After commenting to the blog of the Bay Family http://blogs.bootsnall.com/TheBays/ I found out that they were coming back for a second visit to Suchitoto. Today we met at the Pasada del Sol a local hotel, restaurant and swimming pool(http://www.lapasadadelsol.com/) to celebrate my 9 year old sons birthday. It was great meeting Allison, Matthias and their two young sons(2 and 4 years old). They are currently working their way back to Seattle where their trip started some 7 months ago. Check out their blog to learn more about the trip, it is filled with lots of use full information about traveling by car in Central America. Very good if you and the family are planning a similar trip.

My name is Robert Broz and I have been working and living in Suchitoto, El salvador for the past 10 years. Although I was born and raised in the SF Bay Area , I now call Suchitoto home. Since my arrival in El Salvador in 1995 I have become very involved in tourism, especially here in Suchitoto. If you are travelling to Central America, think about a visit to Suchitoto.
